Get G Suite mail, calendar and contacts on iOS

This article is for G Suite users of managed Apple® iOS® devices. Other users should go to Sync your mail, contacts, calendar, and more.
You can get your G Suite mail, calendars, and contacts on your iOS device. You'll see the same emails, events, and contacts whether you're using your phone, tablet, or computer. After you sign in to a G Suite mobile app with your G Suite account, your device is registered for mobile management with your organization.
You have 2 ways to get your G Suite data on your iOS device. Depending on your organization's policies, you might be asked to install a security profile on your device. This profile allows your administrator to remotely manage your device. For example, they can set password requirements and remotely wipe your device if it's lost or stolen. For details, see How your iOS device is managed.

Option 1: Use Google mobile apps (recommended)

You can use Google mobile apps on your iOS device to view your work or school mail and calendar events. Install the Gmail or Google Calendar app from the Apple App Store®. Open the app and sign in with your G Suite account. If prompted, follow the steps to install the device policy security profile. For details, see How the device policy profile works. Depending on how your administrator configures your account, your mail, calendar events, and contacts might also synchronize to the corresponding iOS apps on your device. If you don't want this to happen, you can turn it off. For details, see Choose which services to synchronize.
