Creating a Mailbox Print

A Mailbox signifies a storage where email messages are delivered. A Mailbox is identified by an email address.

To create a mailbox, click + Create Mailbox and specify required information to proceed.

Mailbox Types

  • User Mailbox - A user Mailbox is a Mailbox assigned to a single Active Directory user account.
  • Shared Mailbox - A shared Mailbox is a Mailbox that multiple users can use to read and send email messages. In other words it's not restricted to a single user, rather multiple users can access it.
  • Linked Mailbox - A linked Mailbox is a Mailbox that is associated with a user account located in an external Active Directory. The Active Directory forest in which Exchange is deployed maybe different from the Active Directory where the user accessing it, exists.

User Mailbox

Select User Mailbox from the drop-down list box and specify information to proceed.

New User:

To create a mailbox with new user, click New User and specify details to proceed.

Existing User:

To create a mailbox with existing user, click Use Existing User and select user to proceed.

Shared Mailbox

Select Shared Mailbox from the drop-down list box and specify information to proceed.

New User:

To create a mailbox with new user, click New User and specify details to proceed.

Existing User:

create a mailbox with existing user, click Use Existing User and select user to proceed.

Linked Mailbox

Select Linked Mailbox from the drop-down list box and specify information to proceed.

New Master Account:

To create a mailbox with new master account, click New Master Account and specify details to proceed.

Existing Master Account:

To create a mailbox with existing master account, click Use Existing Master Account and select user to proceed.

Advanced Settings

Click to specify some advanced level configurations. Hosts can either offer own services or select any other offer as per requirements.

User Profile

Click Prime-Server Cloud-Server G-suite Domain Web-Hosting Mail-Services to specify user information as:

Active Sync Settings
